Arthurium V
Anthurium papillilaminum ‘RL’ x ‘FS’ X Anthurium ustupoense.
My first novel creation. This Panamanian mashup combines a legit dagger papillilaminum from Jay Vannini (seen in the velvet leaf article) and Anthurium ustupoense
These seeds developed and germinated 3 x faster than anything I’ve ever made; I presume do to the compatibility of the parent plants. I’m predicting these will be very fun and easy to grow bc of this. The combination of the dark velvet leaves of papillilaminum with the leaf morphology of this selected “dagger” form will provide a great opportunity for unique hybrids when combined with the “T” shape and glossy green of Anthurium ustupoense
Being offered are 3-4 leaf seedlings seen in image one.
These things grow fast and easy!
Will need 60-75% humidity
Good light 200-400fc 12-18hr day
Water 2 times per week
Well balanced nutrients like MSU K-lite (I’d use at half strength until it gets 4-5 leaves).
I suggest a bark based Aroid mix for this Panamanian hybrid.
