SHERM
Enjoy a few moments of peaceful dark velvet leaves.
This is my favorite velvet leaf Anthurium. This name SHERM is just a pet-name I use to identify my Anthurium papillilaminum ‘Ft Sherman’ x self. This name helps me identify this plant for breeding purposes. There are probably more dramatic plants from this seed batch out there, but SHERM has a balanced combination of lobe structure and darkness that give it a distinct look. It has been a pleasure to grow this plant since early 2021 when I received it in a 3.75” cube from The Bay Area based collector of the exotic-esoteric himself: Jay V. The care routine and gallery of this plant, including throwbacks can be seen in this post. If you have an ‘FS’ x self in your collection send me a pic, I’d love to see it.
