DERO

Today I walked out into the garage and the lights were all off, power went off and jammed up all the timers so the grow lights weren’t on, so naturally I grabbed a camera and made some videos.

Plants seen here include Anthurium Curandero (dark black one I open the video touching) and ‘Red Velvet’ (one hanging in the basket with the telltale emerging leaf color) a couple hybrids by famed breeder Jay V that are my favorites to look at, also a new to hort. sp. nov. cundinamarca that is legit surpassing lots of things on my list of favorites here as it matures into an emerald pebbled leaf dream.

Hope you did everything you wanted on this Sunday July 7th 2024, or whenever you are catching this. Our free time is valuable and I really enjoy using mine to spread the joy of growing gorgeous (and dark) tropical plants indoors. Being able to walk out here and observe these gifts from nature is a privilege I’m genuinely grateful for and I hope it comes across in the stuff I create.
